We arrived in Madrid a bit earlier than the rest of the year to start exploring and see a bit of the city. The airport terminal was designed by Antonio Lamela and Richard Rogers and opened in 2006. It uses colour to help orientate visitors through the long concourse. Domes within the roof allow light into the concourse and lower levels.
